Daniel Haugh, representing New York Athletic Club, won the men's weight throw title with a third-round effort of 83-5.75 (25.44m) to achieve a lifetime best and elevate to the No. 4 all-time global competitor at the USATF Indoor Championships at Albuquerque Convention Center in New Mexico. Haugh captured his second indoor national title, along with 2019 in New York.
